It's been a couple months since we started out here and there are some definite trends showing. Maybe availability has changed or been misjudged, maybe things are moving forward too quickly... the fact is that I haven't heard from some of our team members in a while. That being the case, I'd like everyone to take a moment to reassess their situation and report on their plans.
For myself, I'm all in. All my creative energy is going to this project. I've been humming Blue's music, dreaming up bot commands and sketching out control schemes, inventing map elements and Blacksmith recipes. Sometimes I've been handling the unfun side of administration, such as asking questions like this. If you've overcommitted, I don't mind you saying so. I don't want to pressure anyone, so if you're too busy with your life for a hard commitment to this unpaid project I'd much rather know and plan accordingly than send you a bunch of hopeful messages and have a gap in our timetable (not that we have one.)
So take a moment, consider your situation, and get back to me here or via PM.
I don't think everyone's been introduced, so as a softer side to this topic consider it an opportunity to say hello to your co-workers and tell them what you're capable of.

Reporting for duty. Been learning Unity on my own for the last few months. I still have full commitment to the project, however with a new baby on the way I may have to take a short sabbatical while adjusting to a new schedule. My wife is not due till January, so I'll try to do as much as I can in the meantime.

I apologize about my disappearance, all my work is going to be unavailable till i can get my things from storage. Talk means nothing but i already had a future theme ready to send but no internet in my own home and I'll also be moving around a lot during this month and maybe even October. I should be able to start sending steady work again soon though, banners and such are easy and the request for those will never be a problem. I will not leave this project, if at any point i am unavailable it is only a brief hiatus due to whatever life throws @ me. Also after i can send everything that should've been up already I'd like detailed descriptions of the appearance of requested items/objects/etc. so i can try and capture the concept of the team rather than taking a guess at it myself. Again my apologies for my absence.

Nice work JR, and thanks for checking in Aeo. There's not a whole lot I can do before theme is decided as far as visual descriptions are concerned, but if you're having issues with something you're trying to represent put up a thread about it. It's not hard to get us talking, the Horror Story thread is proof enough of that. If you want a specific opinion, PM away. Glad to see you're reporting quickly.

disconaps reporting for duty. i don't have much in the way of direction, but i'm available. i've been promoting the horror theme, and last week i played around with a few class sketches. i wanted to see what they'd look like in the same aspect ratio as FP (head and body size are about equal). i didn't post, because i wasn't sure where the game was going in terms of theme and i think there was mention of the possibility of using original, unconventional monsters for job classes. i take appointments from Wed-Sat, but i started working at a new location so i do have some downtime while i build up my client book. my sister recently moved into my studio space, so i haven't been doing anything creative. i've been playing FP instead red, i know being admin is a bummer sometimes for projects that don't offer monetary compensation, but i don't perceive this project that way. to me, it's an outlet for creative expression and i'm committed to seeing it become something. i'm also pretty resourceful, so don't hesitate to be the task master that this project needs.

Thanks disco, I look at it the same way. Though I may have poached you to the Writing Team, feel free to put up your images in the Art Request thread. It could use some attention. And hey, nothing wrong with building up your love for FP my friend. That's what I'm here for, after all.

maybe more organization is in order? i wasn't too active here last week, and i already feel like i've lost track of progress. i move for some sort of scheduled meeting for team members to do exactly what we're doing in this thread. That way, everyone has a clear path and a timeline to adhere to.

Good idea. I'll get an availability thread going this evening so we can get as many members in attendance as possible.
