I've been playing a game that has a medic class that I think is really cool, and this would apply to the priest in FP, of course. It has armor repair tools. The basic tool (in this case, it would be the priest stick) heals one person when you lock onto them, then the upgraded tool can heal 2 people at once simultaneously when locked onto them. This would be the upgraded priest ability. Also, the medic can revive team mates with an "injector", but they only have 30% of health when revived, then the medic uses the repair tool to heal the rest of their health. This would be extremely useful for dire situations when the opposing team is in the base and everyone's waiting to respawn. Giving the priest this ability would be awesome and a game changer. I think this would be in place of their area heal, especially if it can lock onto more than one target at once when upgraded. However, with all that healing power, it should be made an easy (low HP) target, so that they'd be forced to play smart and cautiously, obviously.
I think introducing some sort of transportation into the game would also be neat. This is, of course, if the map is big enough to even require that, and if certain transportation is even relevant to the theme. It would also not be able to capture the princess, just get allies around faster and more efficiently. Blue said something about creating formations, and I think this would be similar to it. I'm thinking of something along the lines of a trojan gift horse, lol. This would also require building and gathering resources to make it, and would also take a good amount of damage to destroy it, but I think it'd allow the group to get to the enemies castle unimpeded, and taking less damage. Somehow the catapult didn't come to mind when writing this, but this might still be something to consider!
